It is always nice to support small businesses but when the business is located in your community and is heads and shoulders above all the others in the field, it's even better!During the last Family Day holiday, our furnace stopped working. I contacted Mo from Belcarra Mechanical and even though it was a holiday and he was going to spend the day with his family, he came over to diagnose the problem. It turned out the water condenser for the heater had stopped causing the furnace to shut down. Given that it was a holiday, Mo said that he wouldn't be able to get a replacement that day but in the meantime he would bypass the system and use the garden hose to drain the water down our driveway (he is a mechanical engineer by training). He got the heater working again and said that he would get a replacement the following day and have it replaced within a day or so.Unfortunately, a few hours later we again lost heat and I messaged Mo to let him know. He phoned back almost immediately and tried to trouble shoot the problem of he water not draining over the phone. He then said that he would phone around to his friends in the business to see if he could locate a new replacement pump. Later that afternoon, Mo called to say that he had located one and that he would go and pick it up and could come by after dinner to install it. He came that evening, installed the water condenser and got us warm and cosy again.As far as we are concerned, Mo went over and above to ensure that we had a working furnace given the cold in February. He took time away from his family, worked on the problem for an entire day, visited twice and made sure that we had a comfortable Family Day holiday. I cannot recommend him enough and will tell anybody that needs heating or air conditioning work done to contact him. The bill was extremely reasonable and he didn't even charge for his time needed to drive and pick up the unit from his friend. Mo is an extremely caring person that will go out of his way to serve his customers. He runs an exceptional business and is deserving of his 5 star reputation!

I got excellent value for money. Moh was responsive, on time and performed fire place service and repair very diligently to details. He is mechanical engineer from Iran and hence found him ethical, trustworthy. He also educates you about the system. I found home genuine and a good person.
Honestly don't call anyone else. Furnace went during -11 temperatures and Mo came through for us big time. Other places had 10 day waiting lists or were charging double time during regular business hours but Mo came same day and fixed the problem in a timely manner. He repaired our gas fireplace to boot so we would have heat overnight while he found the part to fix our furnace. Timely, respectable, knowledgable, good pricing and genuinely cares about his clients. I would rate higher than 5 stars if possible.
Moh is very professional, friendly, and pleasant. I am feeling great about our decision to go with Belcarra Mechanical for our furnace repair and maintenance. He was knowledgeable, punctual and responsible for the job. After the routine maintenance something else happened to the furnace and I called him at 10 night and he solved the problem at 10:30 same night! Unbelievable that he just came at that time of the night and insisted in solving the issue for me. Mohammad did regular maintenance on my gas fireplace. He was on time, respectful on my home and courteous. He opened the fireplace checking that all the connections were good, lit the pilot light, did some touch-up paint on metal parts to freshen up the interior look. Mohammad ensured that all the glass was clean inside and out before reassembling the fireplace. Mohammad tested the fireplace several times to ensure that it started properly but also shut down properly before leaving. I will be reaching out to him again for the next maintenance call
